Part seminar, part confession: The Linden Solution tells the true story of civil servant Hannah, who saw her beloved home town dying of stagnation and drought, boomer corruption and millennial apathy.

Realising she had a unique position of power to influence local government, Hannah conspired to cure her society's ills with a "political hair-of-the-dog": eighteen months of neo-fascism.

What happened next made headlines around the world.

In this reality-blurring piece of theatre, Hannah will be present to deliver her own explanation of the incident, speak to her motivations and clarify her opinions.

She is supported by video, audio and live recreations of the Linden townsfolk so that audiences can make up their own minds: didn't she try to make the world a better place?

Are there no longer points for trying? The Linden Solution is "Our Town" for the alt-right era: where extremism is a weapon of the privileged.

Audrey Journal

"staging is spare but effective – particularly when enhanced by custom-produced and archival video"

Time Out

"Cameron Smith’s video projections are more successful, providing excellent texture"

Reviews by Judith

"The video sequences are quite brilliant for verisimilitude and their variety of visual techniques"
